Welcome

Welcome to the CAI website. CAI is the governing body for the sport of Croquet in Ireland.
What became modern croquet was first played in Ireland in the 1830's and the game is still popular here, particularly in its "garden" form.
On this site you will find the latest news of the game in Ireland, this year's fixture list, the Honours Board, archived matters and articles on the history and the tactics of the game.
There are entry forms (click list in left hand column) for the Championships of Co. Dublin, The Championships of Ireland and the Golf croquet Championship of Ireland.
If you would like to have matters added to the site or wish to contact us,
