A four strong Irish team travelled to face the USA in Nantucket between the 19th and 23rd of August. The team comprised Danny Johnston (C), Patsy Fitzgerald, Evan Newell and Nathaniel Healy and faced a strong American team including former MacRobertson Shield players Jeff Soo and Rich Lamm and previous Carter cup members Dave Bent and Wayne Davies.
That match was played in idyllic surroundings of the Westmoor Club thanks to the Trojan work of club pro Wayne Davies in organising and coordinating. Photos by Danny (Irl Capt.)

The Irish Golf croquet Championship will be held at Carrickmines C&LTC on 12/13 September.

This week ( 25th July to 1st August ) Jane Morrison is competing in the Women's World AC Championships (http://www.wacwc2015.org/) being held in Nottingham, England. The photo below shows her at the opening ceremony being introduced to the Lord-Lieutenant of Nottingham with the Sheriff of Nottingham (Councillor Mohammed Saghir) in the background.

The 2016 W.C.F. Association Croquet World Championship will be held at the National Croquet Center (“NCC”), West Palm Beach, Florida from Saturday, 16 April to Sunday, 24 April 2016. The Event Capacity will be 80.
A Qualifying Tournament will be held at the NCC from Monday 11 April to Thursday 14 April 2016.

Anyone wishing to play in this should make their name known to the C.A.I. Secretary by the 15th of August.
