This week ( 25th July to 1st August ) Jane Morrison is competing in the Women's World AC Championships (http://www.wacwc2015.org/) being held in Nottingham, England. The photo below shows her at the opening ceremony being introduced to the Lord-Lieutenant of Nottingham with the Sheriff of Nottingham (Councillor Mohammed Saghir) in the background.

The 2016 W.C.F. Association Croquet World Championship will be held at the National Croquet Center (“NCC”), West Palm Beach, Florida from Saturday, 16 April to Sunday, 24 April 2016. The Event Capacity will be 80.
A Qualifying Tournament will be held at the NCC from Monday 11 April to Thursday 14 April 2016.

Anyone wishing to play in this should make their name known to the C.A.I. Secretary by the 15th of August.

This year there have been some significant developments in Herbert Park. The pavilion, adjacent to our lawns, which previously housed the bowling club and pretty basic changing rooms and toilets has been rebuilt. It continues to include the bowling club but the other half of the building is now a cafe plus three decent, if narrow, toilets. A patio outside will have additional tables for the cafe which at present (mid-July 2015) remains unopened. ..cont..
