Day 4 of the 2019 Championships of Irish Croquet saw the onset of the maiden Alternate Shot Doubles competition and occupied most of the lawns in the morning. Ireland came third at the 2019 Home Internationals, held at a wonderful venue in Budleigh Salterton Croquet club on Southwest England’s Jurassic coast. In mixed weather, the assembled 5-strong Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh teams battled it out for the glass orb trophy which Ireland last won in 2013 on home soil.

The Scottish Croquet Association beat the Croquet Association of Ireland in the annual Appleton Trophy match in Carrickmines, Dublin by 14 games to 10.

The Gymnastic Cup AC tournament will be held on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May 2019. It is an open event to be held at Carrickmines Croquet and Lawn Tennis club. Further information about the event can be seen in this PDF.
