On 28 th & 29th July Newbridge House hosted the Cyril Corbally Cup for the second year and also ran an Inter Club Doubles Championship. In spite of the weather, two days of croquet were enjoyed by both the players and passers-by. It was a pleasure to be playing on a lawn that was an important part of Irish Croquet History, and the toss for the the first two games played was done using Cyril Corbally's silver championship medal from 1911, kindly offered by the family.
