The following have been selected for the Home Internationals Championship, to be played at Southport on the 10th/11th June:

The following team has been selected for the Appleton Trophy match against the Scottish Croquet Association, to be played in Carrickmines on the 13th and 14th of May.

The first Open Croquet Tournament at Carrickmines in 2017 will be the long-standing Gymnastic Cup. To be held over 2 days, 30th April and 1st May.
This is an Association Croquet Handicap event, 26-point games. Handicaps as listed on the CAI website will apply.
Players must commit to playing on both days, start time 10am.
Tournament Manager Simon Williams. The exact format of the Tournament will depend on the number of entries.
The Annual Gerneral Meeting will be on Tuesday, 2nd of May at 8.00p.m., at Carrickmines C & LTC, by kind permission of the Club.

Carrickmines welcomed a team of Croquet players from the Rushbrooke Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club near Cork on Saturday April 1st.
Please note that this event will be inaugurated in Carrickmines on the weekend of 30 September/1 October. There will be teams of 4 and the initial format (which may get tweaked for future years in the light of experience) will include both doubles and singles.
Evan Newell and Mark Stephens (both Carrickmines) have been awarded places in the 2017 European Golf Croquet Championship, which will be played at the Real Club de Golf Vista Hermosa, Jerez and the Real Club Pineda, Sevilla, the 24th-28th of May. Simon Williams (Carrickmines) and Patsy Fitzgerald (Kells) await confirmation of Ranking places in the same event.

The 2017 European Golf Croquet Championship will be played at the Villa Hermosa Golf Club, near Jerez in southern Spain, between the 24th and 28th of May. The C.A.I. has two places to award.
