2009 Final rankings
Great weather, good lawns thanks to Simon and firm hoops thanks to Ed greeted the 8 players battling for this years' Silver Medals.
On 29th-30th August the CAI held a coacking weekend in Carrickmines.
This was very successful and enjoyable in equal measure.
Association Croquet Open Handicap Singles Weekend on September 26th and 27th 2009.
The format consists of 3 distinct competitions -
1: A competition for those who play on Saturday.
2: A competition for those who play on the Sunday.

A wet and blustery day turned into a fine day of both weather and croquet. There were a number of round robin matches left in both division one and two before the finals were to take place.

The CAI have pleasure in announcing a Coaching courses taking place 28th-31st August in Carrickmines Croquet & Lawn Tennis Club (by kind permission). The full details and entry form are available for download in the sidebar of this web page.
Please return entry forms to Leo Dungan as soon as possible to enable final planning of the courses.

Well that’s it for the Irish!
The other five guys had placing matches so we all went in for an early start. To be perfectly honest I’m so tired I can’t really remember who came where and who beat who and what the scores were. The only thing I really remember is that Jack Gleeson recorded a great win over Danny. I think this left Danny with the wooden spoon or whatever the croquet term is.
I waited around supporting the others and waiting until my second round match against Dina Saad at five.
